Cottage The cottage has 2 rooms ¿ one with queen size bed and second with 2 single beds. All the beds of course have cotton percale bedding. The living room with its high beam ceiling and mohair sofas are arranged near the fireplace and compliments the relaxed atmosphere of the cottage and its spacious natural surroundings. Romantic lanters to be used either at the dinner table, swimming pool at night or outside dining area at the fireplace under the stars compliments the tranquillity and warmness of the cottage. The Cottage is environmentally friendly due to appliances working off solar panels to provide electricity to fluorescent lights and both the kitchen and bathrooms hot water, stove and fridge freezer are gas operated. The cottage is covered under eucalyptus trees to allow it to still be cool during hot summer months. The terrace overlooks the valley and with its hammocks positioned in trees is ideal spot for your afternoon siestas with panoramic views over valley - also the perfect spot for sundowners and to light up a braai. On the other side of the valley the Oliphants Mountains seems weightless in the haze. The bathroom has a inside bath and toilet with hot outside bamboo shower for the naturalist and more adventurous. Other visitors to the indigenous Fynbos and succelent rock garden include butterfly birds like francolins, sugarbirds, barn owls, veroux Eagle falcons and dragon flies. The plunge pool with pool loungers compliment the laid back relaxed feeling of the farm cottage. The outdoor bamboo hot shower also compliments the natural feeling that the cottage and its 360º panoramic views provide. Cool off in the pool or stretch out on a lounger.
